Terms of sale

Kits aren’t on sale yet. These terms will apply to orders once they are.

These terms cover buying a Pipkin kit from Damian Worsdell, a sole trader in Western Australia, Australia (“we” and “us”). Using the software is covered by the terms of use, and how we handle your details by the privacy policy.

Orders and prices

• Prices are in Australian dollars unless shown otherwise, and include GST where it applies. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Your order is accepted when we confirm it by email. If we can’t fulfil an order, for example because of a pricing error or because we’ve run out, we’ll tell you and refund you in full.
• What’s in each kit is listed on the product page.

Delivery

• We ship worldwide. Delivery estimates are shown at checkout; they’re estimates, not guarantees.
• Outside Australia, import duties, taxes and customs fees are yours to pay unless checkout says otherwise.
• The kit is your responsibility once it’s delivered. If it’s lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact us and we’ll send a replacement or refund you.

If something’s wrong

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

To make a claim, email privacy@pipkin.io with your order number and a description or photo of the problem. If your kit turns out to be faulty, we’ll refund your reasonable cost of sending it back. The guarantees don’t cover damage from misuse or accidents, or from changes to the hardware. Installing your own firmware doesn’t affect your rights on its own.

If you’re outside Australia, you also keep any rights your local consumer law gives you.

Change of mind

We don’t offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind, unless the law where you live gives you a right to cancel. This doesn’t affect your rights above when something is wrong with your kit.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia. Nothing in them limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply to you.
